SMALL ANIMAL SERVICES
Your pet's care is our passion.
From meeting your new best friend to making end of life decisions and everything in between, we have you covered.
Puppy and Kitten Vaccination Series
Welcome to the family! Now to keep you safe and healthy. We generally recommend a 3 part vaccination series of core vaccines starting at 6 weeks of age. Puppies recieve vaccination for canine distemper virus, adenovirus type 1 and 2, canine parainfluenza virus, and canine parvovirus.
Kittens receive Vaccination for feline rhinotracheitis, calici, and panleukopenia viruses and Chlamydia psittaci. Both puppies and kittens should be vaccinated for rabies.

Wellness Exams
Keeping your pet healthy is our primary concern. Yearly check ups to monitor their whole body health are crucial to early detection of disease. Monitoring your pets weight and performing a full physical exam allow us to look for signs that further diagnostics should be performed. As your pet ages we may also recommend routine blood work as part of our wellness appointment.
Surgeries
We perform elective, non elective and emergency surgery. The most common surgery performed is surgical sterilization (spays and neuters). Other surgeries that your pet may require that we perform include: amputations, mass removals, cystotomies (bladder surgery), enucleation (eye removal surgery), and foreign body surgery (removal of something that they have eaten that has gotten stuck).

Emergency Care
Sometimes things don't go as planned. Your animal gets sick, gets into an accident, or eats something it shouldn't. We are here to help! We all have pets and know how upsetting it can be when they can't tell you what is wrong. Our team will triage your patient, run appropriate diagnostics and get them the care they need in a timely fashion.
Questions? Not sure if your pet needs to see the vet on call? Call our number and talk to one of our helpful staff and we will consult you on the most appropriate next steps to take.

Dental Care
A healthy pet has a healthy mouth. We don't often think of our pets teeth until they have bad breath. Our pets cant brush their own teeth but we can help them keep their teeth clean. Providing appropriate chewing toys, hard kibble, and even brushing helps keep the teeth and gums healthy. Regular evaluation of your pets teeth is a necessary part of their overall health assessment. If your pet needs a dental cleaning or teeth extracted we provide ultrasonic dental cleanings and digital dental x-ray.
